The theme in Hollywood is so often about dreams—how a family can go from nothing to something when one of them decides to give everything and commit their life to that goal. How even in situations of corruption and abuse, good can overcome bad. And for a child living in a world like mine, the impact of that message is immeasurable.

Why Dream if you cannot dream big, really big?

Deji’s upcoming book, Underground, is the epitome of the American dream.

This true story demonstrates how hope and faith in the face of adversity and a myriad of other life-changing challenges can prevail. 100% of the proceeds (excluding the ‘reward’ expenses) will go to Solani, an educational and medical nonprofit. Solani’s three primary goals include:

Academic Scholarships

Provide academic scholarships to International Students from developing nations in need of additional financial support while in undergraduate or graduate studies in the U.S.;

Medical

Encourage medical specialization in Oncology and Geriatric Medicine by providing scholarships to third and fourth-year U.S. medical students;

Network of Talents

While providing academic scholarships, leverage the established network of talents in the medical arena and volunteers from all works of life to conduct Public Health missions in the U.S. and developing countries worldwide.
